With over 20 years of experience within both the private and public sectors with a focus on legal and fiscal compliance, Tiffani has spent her career ensuring that workplaces and institutions operate with fairness, integrity, transparency, and respect for the people they serve.

Tiffani believes that government should work for the people, built on ethical governance, fiscal responsibility, and policies that uplift all residents.

Phil DiLorenzo

Troy City Council - District 1

Phil DiLorenzo Campaign Site

Phil DiLorenzo is running to represent District 1 on the Troy City Council, bringing a wealth of experience in finance, leadership, and community engagement. A proud Troy resident for the past eight years, Phil holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester. He has spent over a decade working in state government finance, including key roles as an auditor and in leadership positions.

Since moving to Lansingburgh, Phil and his wife have dedicated themselves to restoring their 100-year-old Craftsman-style home while actively engaging in the community. He has served on the Knickerbacker Park Board of Directors for the past seven years—first as treasurer and now as vice president—where he has helped lead improvement projects and organize community events.

​

Phil’s background in finance, leadership, and community advocacy has prepared him to be a strong voice for Lansingburgh on the City Council. He is committed to responsible budgeting, practical solutions, and proactive leadership to address the needs of District 1. Phil will work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for residents and ensure that both Lansingburgh and the greater Troy community continue to thrive.

Shikole Struber

Troy City Council - District 2

Shikole is a first-generation college graduate, and seeing the value of Troy, she chose to make this her home in 2017. She has rented in Troy for a number of years, finally getting the opportunity to purchase a house in Lansingburgh on Second Avenue.

 

Shikole is an avid reader who founded a community book club in 2022 and actively supports the Troy Library through donations and volunteering. Shikole works as a cybersecurity professional thriving in data-based work.

 

These skills, along with the project management background from her MBA, will allow her to make decisions rooted in the needs of the City Workforce to ensure that Troy City Council utilizes taxpayer dollars to improve residents' quality of life.

Katie Spain-McLaren

Troy City Council - District 3

Katie Spain McLaren is a lifelong resident of Troy and a citizen of District 3. She grew up attending Troy schools and finished her education graduating at Boston College with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. Katie is a mom of 5 all who have attended Troy Public Schools. 

 

Katie, in her professional life, has taught at the Troy Central School District for 25 years and is currently teaching at School 2 in North Central. Katie has championed disability rights and serves as a mental health advocate.

 

As your Representative to City Council, she has sponsored legislation for Lead Service Lines, Playground renovations, Support of Pride Month, Autism Acceptance Month, and Mental Health Awareness Month, as well as public safety initiatives, including funding for Troy Police Department Initiatives and equipment for Troy Fire Department.

Noreen McKee

Troy City Council - District 4

Noree McKee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a certified public accountant, auditor, and small business owner in the financial industry. Noreen knows how to lead a business with accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility—skills she’ll bring to the City Council. 

 

Public service is at the heart of Noreen's life work. Early on, She started as a social worker and taught indigenous children in rural Alaska. After retiring from the private sector and establishing a home in Troy, Noreen became active in the community, serving on the boards of Unity House, the League of Women Voters of Rensselaer County, and as President of the Justice Center of Rensselaer County.

Jona Favreau

Troy City Council - District 5

As a longtime Troy resident and proud member of the 5th District, Jona Favreau believes that strong communities are built through transparency, trust, and meaningful engagement. Her campaign centers on open, honest communication—ensuring residents are informed about local decisions, have direct channels to voice their concerns, and feel heard by their representatives. Jona will prioritize expanding opportunities for in-person conversations, public input sessions, and clear, consistent updates from City Hall.

 

With a background in finance and administration, Jona brings a deep understanding of responsible budgeting to the table. She will champion smarter investments in infrastructure and essential services—especially the urgent need to remove lead pipes from Troy’s aging water system and ensure clean drinking water for all. Jona is also dedicated to completing the long-promised Kinloch Park, shaping it through a community-driven process that reflects what families and neighbors want most. Her vision is clear: a city government that is responsive, fiscally responsible, and powered by the people it serves.

Greg Campbell-Cohen

Troy City Council - District 6

Greg Campbell-Cohen is an experienced community leader, union organizer, and policy professional, he has the passion and knowledge to fight for the working people who make Troy such an extraordinary place to live.

 

Greg has spent the last decade campaigning for state and local policies and initiatives that protect workers, parents, and children from toxic chemicals and empower them to confront abuses of power. He has also been privileged to serve as a labor delegate, a Capital Streets board member, and the Managing Officer of TIMBER, a public interest group for working people right here in Troy.
