CITY OF TROY

Committee members participate in every step of the local election process.

The City Committee is responsible for recruiting and endorsing candidates running for office in the City of Troy, including the Mayor, City Council, City Court Judge, and County Legislators representing Troy. 

As members of the Rensselaer County Committee, members of the City Committee also participate in the endorsement process for candidates for federal and state offices representing all or part of Troy.

The City committee is responsible for getting Democratic candidates on the ballot at every level of government through the circulation of designating petitions by members in their respective election districts.
